The Foundation is registered under the Foundations Act 2003 which will enable it to raise monies locally and abroad for its work. The two Rotary clubs pledged $25,000 per year for 5 years and plan to raise additional monies from private sector partners and from charitable and other civic minded persons and organisations. The Foundation plans to work closely with the public sector in developing new programmes and funding existing ones.
The Advancement of Children Foundation is registered under the Foundations Act 2003 which allows it to raise monies locally and abroad for its work; and has continued raising necessary monies through vigorous fundraising efforts. From its inception in 2008, five major corporations – St. Kitts Marriott Resort, TDC, LIME, St. Kitts Nevis & Anguilla National Bank and Christophe Harbour, together with two Rotary clubs – Rotary Club of Liamuiga and Rotary Club of St. Kitts – pledged monetary support each year for 5 years to establish the ACF as a …… The ACF plans to work closely with the public sector in developing new programs and funding existing ones by continuing to raise additional monies from private sector partners and from charitable and other civic minded persons and organizations.
